La Couturière - Cotton Poplin
La Couturière (meaning the seamstress/dressmaker) is a soft, smooth and lightweight cotton poplin with a vintage french advertisement design. This fabric has some fluidity but will behave when being handled and has enough structure for puff sleeves and light shirts. It would also look amazing sewn into either a loose or fitted dress for the summertime. I am imagining a Pattern Fantastique Vali dress worn with espadrilles and a basket bag. A True Bias Shelby dress would also be very cool.
